Alumni Leadership Assembly
February 25-26, 2022 – In-person and Virtual
Alumni Leadership Assembly (ALA) is the University of Georgia’s annual gathering of UGA Alumni Association chapter leaders, affinity group council members, and board members. Passionate alumni and friends who lead UGA’s 3 affinity councils and more than 80 alumni chapters return to the Classic City or join online for a weekend packed with opportunities to explore how UGA has grown since graduation, to gain the knowledge and tools to effectively lead alumni chapters and affinity groups in support of the university’s mission, and to connect with fellow alumni volunteers to exchange best practices. In 2022, we’re holding this event with both in-person and virtual attendance options.
Two chapter leaders per chapter (designated by chapter president) may attend in person; all affinity council members may attend in person. Should more than 2 chapter leaders need to attend, a waiting list will be created in partnership with your staff liaison.
2022 Schedule
The following is an overview of the 2022 ALA schedule.
Friday, February 25
- 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm: Welcome Mixer at Studio 225
Saturday, February 26
- 7:00 am: Registration and Breakfast
- 9:00 am: General Session – Virtual option available
- 11:15 am: Lunch
- 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Breakout Sessions – Virtual option available
- 5:30 pm: UGA Tour
- 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm: Awards Reception
