We Never Bark Alone
Your Bulldog journey continues within a vibrant and growing community of Latino alumni committed to connection, mentorship and opportunity. Stay connected by following @ugalatinoalumni on Instagram for ways to get involved.
The work of the UGA Latino Alumni Council is guided by the Spanish word unidos, meaning united, which reflects our commitment to bringing UGA Latino alumni together in support of students, alumni and the University of Georgia.
Unidos represents six areas of commitment that come to life through UGA Alumni’s Grow. Give. Guide. call to action. We grow our connection to UGA through engaging programs, initiatives and opportunities that bring alumni together and deepen their relationship with the university. We give by sharing our time, talents and treasures with the areas of campus we are most passionate about, investing our resources in the programs, people and opportunities that strengthen UGA and support its students. We guide by serving as ambassadors, mentors and professional connections who help current and future Bulldogs navigate their educational and career journeys.
Together, we strengthen the bonds among UGA, its Latino and Hispanic alumni, our local communities and future generations of Bulldogs, united by a shared commitment to the university and one another.
The Latino Alumni Scholarship Endowment aims to provide support for first-generation undergraduate students who demonstrate a commitment to serving their communities.
Help students succeed in their personal, academic and professional endeavors by becoming a mentor. The UGA Mentor Program offers a personalized experience, allowing you to connect with students no matter your location or schedule. Not sure where to start? Head over to the Mentor Program website for resources and next steps.
UGA Alumni Councils exist to unite Bulldog alumni by fostering lifelong connections, advancing professional growth and mentorship, and serving as engaged ambassadors for the University of Georgia.
Through collaboration, philanthropy, and community involvement, these groups also support student success by strengthening pathways to higher education for future Bulldog leaders through scholarship fundraising.
