Congratulations on achieving this great honor! Once you and your family and friends finish celebrating, please make note of the following information that will come in handy in the coming months.
From city to city, we’re ringing the bell
The UGA Alumni Association celebrates our exceptional young alumni annually at the 40 Under 40 Celebration, and this year is no different. Be on the lookout for a box of supplies to use for an at-home gathering on Friday, September 25. Utilize this evite to invite your closest friends and family (max 8 total guests) to your home for the digital program.
HUNKER DOWN
We want to properly celebrate this year’s honorees, and safety is the number one priority. We will provide disposable masks and sanitizing wipes. We encourage you to host your gathering outdoors and be sure to limit it to a maximum 8 total guests. It is important to maintain social distancing during your gathering.
NEVER BARK ALONE
Additionally, please send us the names of up to 8 guests who may not be able to make the at-home gathering so that we can send them a special mailing that will enable them to celebrate from afar.
We hope to get you all back to campus in the future to celebrate face to face, but we didn’t want to let this fall come and go without recognizing some of our best and brightest alumni.
If an at-home gathering on September 25 doesn’t work with your schedule, we recommend celebrating that weekend or as close to the original date as possible for the full experience.

The UGA Alumni Association will disseminate a news release announcing this year’s class across university and social media outlets. You can download this customizable press release to send to your company, professional organizations, other alma maters and local media outlets.
