MISSION

It is the mission of the Latino Alumni affinity group to promote networking, collaboration, and further development for all UGA undergraduate and graduate alumni who have identified themselves as being of Latino descent (including Hispanic, Latin American/Latino, and Spanish Ancestry).

VISION

It is the vision of Latino Alumni to link UGA alumni to their university and create a clear path to higher education for tomorrow’s Latino leaders.

Goals

The mission of UGA’s Latino Alumni is UNIDOS.

U – Unite UGA Latino Alumni and create a network

N – New student recruitment and aid

I – Involvement in your local communities as UGA ambassadors

D – Donate and Fundraise for UGA, prospective students, and current students

O – Offer mentorship and professional development to current students

– Support higher education and current students to help improve degree completion rate
