Alumnae and friends of UGA are invited to attend the upcoming Nashville Women of UGA breakfast on January 31.
Denise Spangler (PhD ’95), Dean of the College of Education, will join us as a featured guest. Spangler joined the UGA faculty in 1995 and has held a series of leadership positions, from head of the department of mathematics and science education to senior associate dean and, most recently, interim dean. She has published approximately 100 scholarly articles, books and book chapters related to STEM education and how elementary education majors learn to teach mathematics.
This Women of UGA breakfast will give you the opportunity to connect with Dean Spangler, meet and network with local alumnae, and stay engaged with your alma mater.
Registration is $15 and includes a $5 gift to support the Women of UGA scholarship for current students. We hope to see you there!
