Glenn Lurie serves as president and CEO of AT&T Mobility and Consumer Operations. In that role, he is responsible for the operations of the mobility business as well as the overall customer experience across consumer services.
Lurie started his technology career at McCaw Cellular after playing professional soccer in Cleveland, Atlanta, Milwaukee and Portland. Over the past two decades, he has helped usher in the modern smartphone era by leading AT&T’s negotiations to introduce the first iPhone and iPad.
In 2014, he was selected as one of 10 “MobileGameChangers” by Russell Reynolds Associates. He was also named to the Global Telecom Business “Power 100” list in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and was presented the Atlanta Telecom Professional of the Year Award in 2009.
Lurie is a board member and the 2018 chair-elect of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He is serves on the Delphi Technology Advisory Council and is a member of the executive advisory board of Curing Kids Cancer. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in business and marketing from Seattle Pacific University.
