Telling the History of Philadelphia through Art

August 23, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join the UGA Alumni Association with special guest Jennifer Manzella (MFA ’07), an acclaimed artist and UGA alumna. Jennifer received her MFA from the University of Georgia, and she has served as a printmaking professor for 10 years, including time at local Arcadia University.

Her art has been featured in national and international exhibitions, including the International Print Center in NYC. Currently, Jennifer’s public art project, City Revealed, is on display at the Market East tower in Philadelphia, and it features 15 screen-printed panels that capture Philadelphia’s urban and industrial past and present.

During this special event, participants may enjoy a wonderful discussion with Jennifer while enjoying food and beverages, along with an exclusive opportunity to visit and learn about her public art project, City Revealed, right from the artist!

We hope you will come out to support a UGA alumna telling the history of our city through her art, along with meet other UGA alumni in the area! Please RSVP below for this event.
