Being a Bulldog means giving back and this spring UGA alumni chapters across the country will come together for a “Dawg Day of Service” in their local communities.
Do you love the James River? Do you hate litter? Join us for the nationwide 2018 DAWG DAY of SERVICE to clean up Texas Beach. Texas Beach is a popular spot for recreation for many Richmond residents. Let’s take a moment to give back to the community by joining together to clean up an often overlooked, but beloved area of the James River. We’ll be meeting by the bike racks at the entrance of Texas Beach. We’ll be partnering with the James River Association to bring this event to you! Afterwards, we’ll head over to Garden Grove Brewery and Urban Winery to reward ourselves for the good deed.
