Being a Bulldog means giving back and on Saturday, April 8, UGA alumni chapters across the country will come together for a “Dawg Day of Service” in their local communities. These events will strengthen the connection between the chapters and their communities.
The NYC Dawgs are joining the Concern Spring Run and will run the race as a group. There are also opportunities to volunteer on race day without running the race. The chapter will raise funds for Concern Worldwide, which aids those in extreme poverty.
The Concern Spring Run is a grassroots fundraiser here in NYC. Starting in 1998, the run has grown to welcome over 1,000 participants who run, jog, and walk the 4 mile course in Central Park. All funds raised enable us to continue helping those living in extreme poverty achieve major improvements in their lives.
The race begins at 9:30 a.m. and check-in opens at 8:00 a.m.
