Being a Bulldog means giving back and this spring UGA alumni chapters across the country will come together for a “Dawg Day of Service” in their local communities.
This year, the Macon dawgs will be giving back by teaming up to volunteer at the 2018 Magnolia Soapbox Derby in historic downtown Macon. This year’s Derby will include a Gravity Racing Challenge, a S.T.E.M.-based initiative involving Middle Georgia high school students. The chapter will be helping with set-up, breakdown, race operations, and various other aspects of the Derby.
This event will have a limited capacity of 20 participants to volunteer, but anyone and everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the event even if they can’t volunteer
