Being a Bulldog means giving back and this spring UGA alumni chapters across the country will come together for a “Dawg Day of Service” in their local communities.
The Lexington Dawgs will participating in this years Dawg Day of Service by supporting a 5k to raise money for Agricultural Education Scholarships.
The University of Kentucky Agricultural Education Society is hosting a 5K race on April 14, 2018 at Spindletop Hall known as the Boot, Scoot, and Boogie 5K for UK Agricultural Education. All monies from participation will be used to meet our goal of a $100,000 endowed scholarship fund for agricultural education students at the University of Kentucky.
The family friendly run and run/walk event will begin at Spindletop Hall at 9 AM located off of Iron Works Pike. Participants will learn the importance of agriculture in KY and the US as they complete the nearly level course.
