Welcome the New Year with our fourth annual Low Country Boil hosted by the Hilton Head Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association. This event costs $25 per person and includes a low country boil, an oyster roast, sides and a drink ticket. Non-seafood items, such as sliders and chicken fingers, will be available. All family and friends are invited!
This event will also feature special guest speakers, UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant Director, Dr. Mark Risse (BSAE ’87, MS ’89) and Tom Bliss (MS ’05), Director of Shellfish Research Lab at the Marine Extension. The topic of the evening’s discussion will be UGA’s efforts toward advancing a Low Country oyster industry.
