Join the Colorado Chapter for Dawg Day of Service with Freedom Service Dogs, a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by rescuing dogs and training them for individual client needs.
On June 11, the chapter will assist staff with dog care duties, which can include (but are not limited to): cleaning kennels, folding laundry, sweeping/mopping, power-washing and more.
The minimum age to volunteer is 12 and volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes. You will not be allowed to participate without proper footwear. Please dress in clothes that you do not mind getting dirty. Parking will be available on Union Avenue.
