The Road to Athens Challenge is a nationwide effort led by UGA Alumni Chapters to help get students from across the country to the greatest campus on earth through scholarship support. Bulldogs from coast to coast are taking on the challenge, and you can join them with as little as $5.
Become a UGA donor, and you help your local chapter to reach their alumni donor goal. When that goal is surpassed, the UGA Foundation gives an additional $10,000 in support of a scholarship that will forever support UGA students from your area.

UGA alumni chapters throughout the country and around the world have joined forces and made a commitment: to create endowed scholarships to help future Bulldogs. Our alumni chapters have both a general scholarship fund which many chapters contribute to as well as scholarship funds for individual cities.

Far too many qualified students face financial barriers in the pursuit of a UGA education. We believe that a UGA student should be able to enjoy a world-class education in the best college town on the planet without taking on several jobs or multiple loans—and our chapters agree.
The UGA Alumni Chapters Scholarship Fund is an endowed, need-based fund that lets recipients focus on their education and take full advantage of the university’s unparalleled learning environment. Chapter members across the country have contributed to this fund and, by adding your support, you help to ensure that future hardworking UGA students can achieve their goals.
