In September 2018, Amanda joined the office of Alumni Relations as an associate director of alumni events with seven years of experience in corporate event planning for a Fortune 500 company. She creates and executes various large- and small-scale university-wide events on and off campus to connect Bulldogs across the country.

Born and raised in Athens, Amanda knows a thing or two about growing up a Bulldog. Some of her best childhood memories come from weekends in Sanford Stadium, cheering on the Gym Dawgs, exploring the trails at the intramural fields and the botanical gardens.

For Amanda being a Georgia Bulldog just runs in the family. After her Dad attended UGA and her mother completed her nursing degree, her family decided to call Athens home. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Housing from UGA in 2005.

She stayed close to her roots and settled down in Watkinsville, Georgia just outside of Athens alongside her family.
