


UGA wins Beat Week (again)
It’s always an exciting matchup when UGA and Auburn go head-to-head in "The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry," and Beat Week 2022 was no exception. The Dawgs claimed the victory for the third year in a row thanks to alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends.

In June, Jack Bauerle, longtime head coach of UGA’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs, announced his retirement. While Bauerle’s retirement means that he’ll be seen around the pool deck a little less, his influence can still be felt across the nation through the network of his former swimmers who went on to be coaches themselves.
