Originally from Rochester, New York, Jackie Bokor moved to Athens in January 2013. She assisted with the UGA Alumni Association’s alumni chapters until May 2015, when she transitioned to her current role within student engagement. Jackie advises the Student Alumni Council (SAC) and works to enhance the relationship between the Alumni Association and current students.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in higher education and student affairs, both from colleges in Buffalo, New York. In the summer of 2012, Jackie interned at the Savannah College of Art and Design, helping plan the school’s student orientation. This is where she fell in love with Georgia, especially the weather. Jackie enjoys being outdoors with her husband and two dogs, reading, and mentoring students.
