Associate Director of Alumni Relations
mcacy@uga.edu
Doug serves as the Associate Director of Alumni Chapters and coordinates alumni volunteer efforts across 35 alumni chapters across the country. He works directly with the volunteers, providing opportunities for Bulldogs to give back to their alma mater and connect with each other. In addition, he supports nation-wide chapter programming like Welcome to the City, Dawg Day of Service, and football Game-Watching Parties.
Prior to joining the Alumni Association in 2021, Doug held positions within student engagement, career development, and academic advising serving undergraduate students at UGA, Penn State University, and Seattle University. Hailing from Nebraska, he graduated from Creighton University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and from Seattle University with a master’s degree in Student Development Administration.
In his free time Doug enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors in Georgia, and watching college and pro football (Go Dawgs!) and college basketball. A fun fact about Doug is that he’s seen a game at 24 of the 30 stadiums in Major League Baseball.
