Due to the recent increase in positive cases of COVID-19, we are continuing to monitor the situation here in Athens. Please continue to check the honoree portal and your email for updates on program and weekend schedule changes.
Congratulations on achieving this great honor! Once you and your family and friends finish celebrating, please make note of the following information that will come in handy in the coming months.

Registration: 12:00 PM | Program: 12:30 PM
Parking is available in the Tate Parking Deck (45 Baxter St., Athens, GA 30602). Overflow parking is available in the Hull Street Parking Deck (S. Hull St., Athens, GA 30605)
Some of UGA’s schools and colleges will host events the evening before, the morning of, and immediately following the luncheon. More information about those networking opportunities will be shared as details are finalized.
Gameday
For those who previously requested to attend the football game, we are excited that you will continue to celebrate with your alma mater through the weekend as the Bulldogs take on the University of Alabama – Birmingham ‘tween the Hedges on Saturday, September 11, 2021 (kickoff is set for 3:30 PM). Please reach out to Frances Beusse if you have any questions regarding your football tickets.
Invitations
You will receive two complimentary seats at the luncheon. You will also have the opportunity to purchase up to two additional tickets for guests of your choice.
Be sure to secure your spot at the luncheon before additional invitations are sent out! The registration deadline is August 27, 2021.
Due to limited capacity, we also will offer a virtual program for those who cannot attend in person. If you would like to extend a virtual invitation to those guests, please share the “40 Under 40 VIRTUAL Program” registration link below with those closest to you.

Honoree Reception
Due to the nature of the honoree reception, and in an abundance of caution, the event at Wall & Broad has been canceled.

The UGA Alumni Association will disseminate a news release announcing this year’s class across university and social media outlets. You can download this customizable press release to send to your company, professional organizations, other alma maters and local media outlets. Hotel Block Information
The UGA Alumni Association has secured a hotel block at the Hyatt Place in downtown Athens.
Thursday, September 9: $189
Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11: $299 per night
Reduced Parking Rate: $10 per night
This block, pending demand, will be available for booking through August 8, 2021. There are two ways to book your stay:
