In June, Jack Bauerle, longtime head coach of UGA’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs, announced his retirement. While Bauerle’s retirement means that he’ll be seen around the pool deck a little less, his influence can still be felt across the nation through the network of his former swimmers who went on to be coaches themselves.

When the Fresh Express student market opened in Joe Frank Harris Dining Commons on August 31, it was thanks to generous seniors from the Class of '21 whose Class Gift helped to fund this SGA initiative to fight food insecurity on campus.
