Bethany Mills joined the UGA Career Center in June 2010 as the career consultant for the College of Education, undecided students and students in fine and performing arts. She was then named the director of alumni career services in June 2014.
Bethany is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is certified in the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Her knowledge and skill set includes career counseling and exploration, career assessments, teaching/presentations, job search strategies, supervising, and training student interns and new staff members. Bethany finds joy in helping UGA alumni navigate the career exploration process and providing the resources to help them reach success. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she earned her Master of Science in Counselor Education and her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Education.
