Biography
Claire guides the development of innovative vaccines, pharmaceuticals and biotherapeutics that improve animal health and strengthen global food security. Combining deep scientific expertise with strategic leadership, she has advanced from an award-winning researcher to a global R&D leader responsible for steering complex projects from discovery through regulatory approval and commercialization. Claire credits her time at the University of Georgia’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences with providing the technical foundation, leadership experience and global perspective that continue to shape her career. Beyond her professional achievements, she remains deeply committed to mentorship and service, serving on the UGA Poultry Science External Advisory Board, mentoring students and helping prepare future leaders for careers in animal health. Through her work at Elanco, her engagement with higher education and her community leadership, Claire exemplifies a commitment to advancing science while creating opportunities for others to succeed.
