Biography
The University of Georgia changed Jason’s life, and he has dedicated his career to creating similar opportunities for others. A proud Triple Dawg, he serves as a Public Service Faculty member with UGA’s J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development, where he designs leadership programs and community partnerships that strengthen organizations, schools and communities across Georgia.
His commitment to service began in the classroom, where he created a service-learning program connecting UGA students with Clarke County School District youth through mentoring, tutoring and athletic development. The initiative helped spark the creation of Coaching 4 Success, which now serves hundreds of students across nine schools.
Beyond program development, he mentors students through the UGA Mentor Program, serves on nonprofit boards and works to expand UGA’s reach through leadership education and public service. His efforts have earned recognition including the UGA President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award and the Excellence in Engaged Scholarship Award. Through every role, he remains focused on helping people grow, building meaningful partnerships and strengthening communities through education and leadership.
