Dear UGA Alumni Family,
What an amazing 2024 we had! This year, we achieved a monumental milestone by surpassing our one million dollar goal for the Black Alumni Scholarship Fund. This success would not have been possible without each one of you committing to giving back to the next generation of UGA students. Thank you for your unwavering support!
Homecoming was another highlight of the year, with our largest alumni tailgate to date. Thousands of alumni came together to reconnect, celebrate, and learn more about our impactful 1961 Club. We also want to thank Red Bull for contributing to the tailgate and the Tailgate Kings for their invaluable partnership in making it such a memorable experience.
As we look ahead to 2025 and the 64th anniversary of desegregation at UGA, I am filled with pride in the dedication of our alumni family. Together, we are nurturing and empowering our current and future students. Our scholarship program has made a tremendous difference in the lives of its recipients, who often share their deep gratitude for your generosity and support.
I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season. As your council, we look forward to strengthening our connection with the alumni family in the coming year. If you haven’t had the opportunity yet, I encourage you to join the 1961 Club. Your involvement will play a vital role in shaping the experiences of our students on campus.
Thank you for all that you do, and as always, Go Dawgs!
