Biography
After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps while completing his undergraduate education, Lucas earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia in 2014 and began building a career centered on service, leadership and community impact. Following roles in retail pharmacy and continued military service as an Army Reserve officer and clinical pharmacist, he pursued entrepreneurship by purchasing an independent pharmacy in South Georgia.
Today, he and his wife, Christina, own and operate three pharmacies serving communities across the region. Under their leadership, the business has grown from four employees to more than 30 and has been recognized among the Bulldog 100, ranking No. 13 in 2025. Their pharmacies have also been voted Tifton’s Best Pharmacy for four consecutive years.
Committed to giving back, he serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students, has established a scholarship in the UGA College of Pharmacy and actively supports local schools, youth programs and community organizations. He credits UGA with providing the foundation, mentorship and opportunities that helped transform him from pharmacist to business owner and community leader.
