Biography

Helping lead planning and execution for the FIFA World Cup, one of the largest global sporting events, Georgia’s work sits at the intersection of business, community, and culture. During preparation for this year’s event, Georgia has brought together civic leaders, businesses, fans and neighborhoods to ensure Atlanta delivers a world-class tournament while creating lasting benefits for the city and state. From working in digital strategy and consulting roles at organizations like CNN, HealthiNation and LiquidHub, she helped organizations rethink how they engage customers by combining empathy and data. This foundation ultimately led her to the sports industry, where she joined AMB Sports and Entertainment the week Mercedes-Benz Stadium first opened, leading Fan Experience initiatives and applying principles from digital transformation to real-time movement and engagement for 70,000 fans. When not on UGA’s campus with her children at football, basketball, softball or club hockey games, she has served as keynote speaker for the Leonard Leadership Scholars graduation program and as a panelist at the More Than My Sport event, speaking with female student-athletes about career pathways and life after sport.
