Being a Bulldog means giving back and this spring UGA alumni chapters across the country will come together for a “Dawg Day of Service” in their local communities.
Salty Dawgs, join us for a Dawg Day of Service on Ft. Myers Beach. We will get started at 9:00 AM at Bowditch Point Park. We will be getting our hands dirty as we accomplish tasks the park has requested help with. This beautiful beach park is where we hold our annual “Dawg Day at the Beach” with the students from UGA IMPACT.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks will be provided. Please bring gloves, sunscreen, and a water bottle. No open-toed shoes please. You may be removing vines, so light long-sleeved shirts and a change of clothes are also advised. It will be warm, so having swimwear to change into may also be an option. Let’s all have some fun while cleaning up our beautiful community. It great to be a “Salty Dawg” in Southwest Florida!
Event parking is free. You will receive a pass for your car.
